My friend and I are flying in the same day, but from different states. Where is a good place to meet at the New Orleans Airport? (MSY) Thanks!

You could always meet at the escalator that takes you down to baggage claim. All the concourses open into the main terminal & you go downstairs to baggage claim or ground transportation. Are you on different airlines that use different concourses? If not, you could meet at the gate of the one arriving last. That's what my mother-in-law did when meeting my other relatives flying in. She got in 1st & went to their gate & sat til their plane came in. It was all in the same concourse so it worked ok.

If there is a lot of time between your arrivals, there is an Acme Oyster House close to the escalators leading to baggage claim.

There are two major sets of baggage claim escalators, one from Concourses A/B (Southwest, USAirways, Northwest) and one from C/D (everyone else). Keep that in mind!
