New Frontier
I am going w/hubby to this hotel for 1 night because he had someone tell him it was a good deal, but I am VERY VERY leary after whay I have read on this site and others. We are staying @ Ballys for the next 3 nights and I was wondering if anyone has been to either of these hotels LATELY and what they thought? we have booked an atrium suite @ the New Frontier, and a regular room @ bBallys. Any info on either will be greatly appreciated.{good rm. numbers if possible} Thanks P. S. going 10/3----10/07 2003

Can't speak for or against the Frontier, but it is off the main portion of the strip and considered a below-average hotel. As for Bally's - a good selection. Have stayed there often. Regular rooms are larger than most hotels and its location at mid-strip is hard to beat. AS for good rooms, it depends upon what it is that you want - a lot, if not most of the south tower has been upgraded. The north tower provides some favorable strip views, but your options will depend upon actual room assignment. While some reviewers of your post may find the one-night/three night arrangement an inconvenience, I often change hotels to maximize overall cost. You'll likely find it a good walk or amodest taxi ride from the Frontier to Bally's..

We stayed at the hotel once....once. That is enough. The hotel is very old, should of been torn down a long time ago. While the atrium rooms are big they are very out dated. Our room was clean but I felt like it was 1960. One night should be ok if you can't find anything else. Good luck.

There are just so many other decent places to stay in about the same price range....Stardust, Barbary Coast, Gold Coast, Orleans. If you stay at either of the latter two, their free shuttle bus will drop you just across the street from Bally's.
