New England Photos Posted
For any who are interested, I've posted a new photo album on Webshots containing the pictures from new England portion of our June 2003 trip to New England, Quebec City, Niagara Falls (Ont) and subsequent train ride back across Canada to the west coast.
There are pictures of a few places in Connecticut, a couple of the Newport RI mansions, the Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod, a shot of Plymouth, a few covered bridges in western New Hampshire, and finally some shots of the beautiful Franconia Notch area of New Hampshire (including pictures of "the Flume" and interior/exterior shots of the Sunset Hill House inn in Sugar Hill NH).
If you are interested, the URL is:

Hope these are of some use for those of you planning a vacation to any of these areas.

What beautiful photos. Only had enough time to view Niagara Falls and New England pics. They took me down memory lane. I was in Toronto/Niagara Falls about five years ago and loved it. Also, about 10 years ago my mother and I took a month and drove up the coast from Fort Lauderdale to Bar Harbor and then returned through the White & Green Mountains and then through Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a wonderful vacation!
I have one question: Will you and Gail adopt me??? LOL!!!!

First off, thanks for the compliment.
The New England photos were taken with my new Konica KD-500Z digital camera. It's a tiny little 5 mp camera that fits in my pocket (I don't like hauling around bulky cameras). It worked real great until partway through our visit to Quebec City - when it simply quit working. So, about 1/4 of the photos in the Quebec City album and all the photos in the Niagara Falls album as well as those in the "train ride across Canada" album were all taken with cheap, throw-away cameras.
All shots taken prior to this trip (ie Hawaii, Bora Bora, Tahiti, Cook Islands etc) were taken with a Cannon Elph or in some cases one of those cheap disposable underwater cameras.

Ken,
Thanks for the info. It's a good thing someone invented those nice little disposable cameras. I have a couple Nikon's that I love, and they take great pics. However, they aren't digital. If you ever want a nice $100 camera, I suggest Nikon.
I'm so sorry you won't adopt me... boo hoo! Anyway, I can't get away to travel very much because I care for my Mother who has a bum hip. I'll just live vicariously through your web pics!
