New Discount Offer for Broadway and Off-Broadway Shows

The annual "Season of Savings" theater discount promotion is available, offering discounts of between 35 and 50% for these Broadway shows:
A Chorus Line, Avenue Q, Chicago, The Color Purple, Curtains, The Drowsy Chaperone, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Hairspray, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Pygmalion, Rent, The Ritz, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Spalalot and Xanadu.
In addition, there are discounts for several Off-Broadway shows, including Stomp.
The discounts are available, depending on the show, from today through anywhere from late October to mid-November.
Log on broadwayoffers.com for details. (The phone numbers vary, depending on the show.)
Also available is $2 discount for Top of the Rock and a $10 parking offer.

I forgot to include the discount code for this offer. It's SAVE12.
Also included in the promotion are tickets "to select performances" of the Christmas Spectacular the Radio City Music Hall, November 9-Decdember 30. (It doesn't list what the "select performances" are.) The price is $59.50.
Check out radiocity.com or call ticketmaster at 212-307-1000.

I'm always surprised when they offer discounts like this in the fall when NY is so busy! Good deals on some shows that aren't discounted on playbill.com or theatermania.com.There's more information at the website http://www.seasonofsavings.com and there's a playbill-like booklet with the information also floating around . I got mine in the NY Times the other day

thanks for the info Howard! I wanted to ask you (and anyone who's seen it) if it's worth to go and see the Christmas Spectacular at the Radio City Music Hall. As this year We'll be in nyc just 5 nights and have already 2 planned (plus the night of arrival with possible jetlag...)so I was wondering if it's a good plan for one of the 2 nights we have left...
thanks!

I've seen the Radio City Christman Spectacular several times and always enjoy it. I most always, just get 1/2 price tickets at the TKTS line which always seems to have them available even in prime time.
