need to switch car insurance in texas

I need opinions. If my insurance company has raised my auto insurance rate for the second time in a row, without any change in my status whatsoever, should I start lookin around? Has this happened with anyone else in TX too?

This topic really belongs in the lounge. It has nothing to do with travel.

I am also in TX.

Who is your insurance company? If you are with State Farm then start looking around. I switched from State Farm to Progressive a few years ago and I am now paying about half for the same coverage. You should also look at Geico.

Oops…moderator, pls feel free to move this topic wherever it belongs. I have taken quotes from Geico and Progressive. The savings aren’t really worth the trouble of switching. Any other options?

Hmmm, if you have had an "event" recently, then you are probably stuck with higher rates for awhile. I have good luck switching between Geico and Progressive.
