Good insurance company for Home and car in Scranton?

Need the name of a good company for insurance in Scranton, PA. looking to switch both home and car insurance. My present insurance company is a pain!! Please drop names only if you have good experience with your company.

Look up the insurance ratings from Consumer Reports. Erie Insurance is rated very well and it's located in PA.

In my experience it is cheaper getting quotes online. Some of the bigger companies offer discounts when ordering online, because it is less work for them. But to be safe you could compare quotes online, pick the best offer and try a local agency to see if they can match it or do better.

I recommend this site for online comparing:

We have had stellar experiences with AMICA. Dropped State Farm for them. Have had a couple of BIG claims with no rate hike.

Hello, danny, is there any chance that you served in the military? If so you might want to contact USAA.

I’d suggest you don’t just do the online comparison thing and blindly go with the lowest cost PA car insurance ( ) company. Try to strike a balance between rates and service. Amica, The Hartford and USAA are known for their reliability.
