Need advice on LA
My friend and I will be going to LA next month and I would like to know some of the places that we should go and visit. We will be in town from march 16-21. How is the weather in march? Also is their any parts of town that we should know about to stay away from? Thanks, Chris

Yes, we will have a car. As far as where we will be staying we arent going to be staying in any central location, we will be hotel hopping every night, with the exception with the 1st night we will be staying next to lax. Were open for any ideas.

Los Angeles is huge. Give us more information so we can be of real help. Age? Interests - movies, sports, nature, museums, theatre, restaurants, shopping, etc? Why are you hotel hopping every night? Do you have any hotels picked out?
Do a search of old posts here for some suggestions - might help to get you started.

Hi, I'm just wondering why you are hotel hopping? Do you mean you will be doing that in the greater LA area? That would make sense. I would stick to 1 or 2 hotels centrally located and/or on the coast as you will have plenty to do in 6 days. Otherwise you will spend a lot of time packing and unpacking and checking into hotels..... Just a thought... If its not raining (its been dry so far), the weather is usually sunny in March. LA is so big and there is so much to do. Maybe if you tell us what things you are interested in you will get more specific suggestions in this posting (for instance do you plan on going to museums, shopping, sight-seeing, taking hikes-yes, there are some good ones). I would stick to the West side of LA meaning Santa Monica and environs or maybe South Bay (Redondo or Manhattan Beach). As in any big city take precautions and use street smarts and you should be OK. Oops, sorry, I just read the posting above mine by ReneeS-we are on the same wavelength!
