NE US/Canada trip plan help
I need help in planning a 10-14 day road trip for July/Aug 2019. Any recommendations? I am travelling with a 13 and 15 year old.
Chicago (depart from home)
Niagara Falls (US), Maid of the Mist, walk to Observation Tower, Cave of the Winds?, Niagara Adventure Theater (movie about the falls), drive across Rainbow Bridge
Niagara Falls (Canada)
National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (Cooperstown)
Acadia National Park (3-4 days): beehive hike (start early), Park Loop Road, visit Jordan Pond, hike to Bubble Rock, drive to top of Cadillac Mountain
visit a lighthouse (Bass Harbor Head Light at sunset?), go on a cruise in the area, lobster dinner
Notre-Dame Basilica (Montreal)
CN Tower (Toronto)
Henry Ford Museum (Dearborn, MI)

I would leave Chicago and head for Cedar Point Amusement park in Sandusky OH for 1st night.... then Niagara Falls USA for Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Whirlpool Jetboats. .. then cross to Canadian side for Clifton Hill, gawking and souvenirs. .. next... up to Toronto, perhaps a baseball game, waterfront, hockey hall of fame, CN tower and walking around. .. next... up to Montreal, old city, smoked meat sandwiches, and Notre Dame... next, Lake George or Saratoga area... then head west along NY Rt 20 from Albany for amazing Scenery to Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame... continue east on 20 to Letchworth State Park (the grand Canyon of the east.... Cross the border at Buffalo and head for Dearborn and Michigan before heading home... have fun....
