Navy Pier (Chicago) - Time Escape; Has anyone done this?

I would appreciate any input on this attraction. The last time we were in Chicago (2 years ago) I don't believe this was there. We were thinking of trying it this summer. Did you enjoy it? Did you feel it was worth the $9.95 admission price? Thanks for any thoughts on this attraction......

After buying the tickets and standing in a long line we finally got on the "ride". It started, but after a minute or so it broke. We were "trapped" there for about 15 minutes while they tried to fix it. Finally they just let us off and refunded our money.

My husband and I did this during our trip to Chicago and didn't feel it was worth the time. Tour the city, see the museums instead.

Thank you both for taking the time to reply. I think we will use our time and money elsewhere.....

Navy Pier is a rip off. Stay away from
anything that Richie Daley profits from.
You wont get your monies worth. Walk from Navy pier past north Ave. Beach. Then down Michigan Ave to the river where you can board a sight seeing boat and see what a butiful city Chicago really is. There is no finer place in the world.
