Naples, Fla Girls! weekend. Restaurant recommendations, please!
Hi!
We will be a group of 6 women on our yearly let’s-run-away-from-our-children-for-the-weekend trip. (We LOVE our kids, but we also enjoy ways in which we can renew our sanity) We’re staying at the Ritz Carlton but want to explore a bit.
Looking for some combo of outstanding food and atmosphere for lunches and dinners.
We’ll be there in February.
Thanks!!

Whoa. Where is my reply? OK, I'll try once more:
My current favorites:
Fifth Ave South:
The French, like a wonderful Parisian brasserie, good service, great food, casual elegance, nice patio dining also. You need to make a reservation SOON.
Trulucks -- best for upscale seafood. Also they have a great happy hour in the nice bar -- super small plates and great drinks at great prices during the happy hour which lasts till 6:30
Third Street South:
Sea Salt, contemporary upscale dining in a nice atmosphere. Pricy but very good.
Barbatella -- Sea Salt sister restaurant with a delightful outdoor patio, excellent Italian, less pricy than Sea Salt
Tommy Bahamas -- wildly popular, casual, bustling outdoor patio.
North:
Bravo at The Mercato and Brio at Waterside -- sister restaurants, excellent for lunch or dinner, nice outdoor dining
Don't pass up The Grill Room at the Ritz -- still our "go to" for special occasion dining. If you want to do a real dress-up night.
The Turtle Club -- Just up the beach from the Ritz. One place you can actually sit on the sand of the beach for sunset dining. Not sure if you can still reserve for February -- very popular
Buzz's Lighthouse -- across the street from Turtle Club, on the bay. Rustic deck and "hole-in-the-wall" bar/restaurant. Don't miss the Grouper Reubens.
Tacos and Tequila (or is it the other way around?) at Pavillion Shopping Center. Wonderful and varied taco menu, great casual Mexican, and super Margaritas. Bargain prices, especially for Taco Tuesdays.
