Napali boat tour
Aloha, everyone!
I am interested in a boat tour of the Napali coastline in June. I do not want to snorkel on this trip. Also, since I'm staying at the Hyatt, one that departs from Port Allen or elsewhere near the south would be preferable. Captain Sundown looks great but it departs from Hanalei and would have us making a late drive back to our resort. Any suggestions?

Captain Sundown didnt get great reviews from Kauai revealed for their trips. The three they recommend are Napali Catamaran,Holoholo, and Liko Kaua'i all from the North shore.
From the west shore they recommend Captain Andy's 335-6833 leaving from Port Allen. 4 hours for $109 including snorkel and BBQ lunch.(it also has hot shower) Aloha!

It turns out that Holoholo does a sunset cruise out of Port Allen that would be perfect for us. Has anyone seen or experienced a lot of seasickness on one of these trips? I understand June can be a particularly windy time.

We did a sunset cruise on Holoholo last March and it was a pretty rough time. High winds. We did see several people get sick, but fortunately we did not. The crew was right there to hose them down! FYI, Holoholo has a shuttle that will pick up at various hotels. We got alot of good dining tips from our shuttle driver!

We went in late June on Captain Andy's and 3 of the 4 of us were sick. Although getting out and snorkling helped alot to recover before the trip back and sick again.....
. We have some great pictures of the beautiful coastline with members of my family in the foreground sicker than dogs. Have fun.. despite it all we do have some unique memories.
