N. Michigan Restaurants

Attending a symposium at the Hotel Inter-Continental on N. Michigan...would appreciate advice for moderate prices but scrumptious dining within easy walking distance. Also need good but moderate eatery for pre-theatre near the Shubert.
Thank You....Skelley

Try Star of Siam and Boston Blackie's near the Intercontinental, Trattoria No. 10 near the Shubert. See metromix.com for prices and reviews.

Skelly there have recently been a few threads on restaurants near the Cadillac Palace and Ford theater which would be great for the Shubert too. Also on N. Michigan, walk one block west to State for tons of choices from steak to Italian to Asian to pizza. Both WaterTower and the NOrthBridge shopping areas have nicer food courts for a quick lunch too.

Houston's: 612 N Rush. Rush is one block west of Michigan. So, this is about 2 blocks away from your hotel. Usually, you will not have to wait more than 5-10 minutes on any given day/time.

Lou Malnati's (Pizza), 439 N Wells St. (Wells is a several blocks west of Michigan.)

Cheesecake Factory (inside the John Hancock building.) Best time to go is between 11a-4p. Go in the evening or on the weekend and you'll have at least a 30-45 min wait.
