Mystic, CT

Hi!
Looking for quick lunch spots child friendly in Mystic, CT. We are doing a weekend getaway there with our 17 month old and have dinners figured out, but was looking for easy/fast lunch spots - must be kid friendly!
Thanks!

There are lots of places for a quick lunch with kids. On Route 1 east of rt. 27 is Sea Swirl with fried clams, Hamburg, hotdogs, fried shrimp, etc. and ice cream both soft serve and hard, on rt 27 there is a similar place north of the seaport, also on 27 is a Friendly's and Mystic Diner.

There are also lunch shops in both the Seaport and the Aquarium if you are going to them. As well as places to get food in "Ye Olde Mystic Village".

You might enjoy picking up sandwiches and drinks and picnicking on the green between the river and Cottrell street. Either Mystic Market on 27 or McQuade's grocery store (up the hill on the road into the Hilton) will make them fresh to order, McQuades has a lunch area and a bar with hot and cold choices.

There is a small playground on the south end of Cottrell street where the kids might be able to work off some energy.
