Myrtle Beach after Hanna

I was planning on going to Myrtle Beach this Sunday. Storm/hurricane Hanna is passing throught there Friday night or Saturday morning. Is is still worth a shot going or will the weather be to windy rainy to enjoy the beach for the week starting on Sunday?

Often, the weather is spectacularly beautiful after a huuricane has passed.

MB weathers storms well. Most coastal communities are built on barrier islands which flood. MB is not an island. Unless there is a major storm, MB is usually OK.

And don't worry about Ike - it looks like it will be Florida's problem.

It will be FL's main problem but I think we'll be getting some rain from it, unlike Hanna.
I heard a report from someone on Oak Island this morning and allseems to be fine on the coast. MB should be fine. A lot of people didn't even leave.
