Mount Wilson Observatory - How It Changed How We Look at the Universe

For the first half of the 20th century, the Mount Wilson Observatory, was considered the best in the world, and the telescopes there were the first of their kind. Last weekend, we visited the three that changed our perception of the universe. Tracy and I both felt that this visit even exceeded the Griffith Observatory. It didn’t hurt we were there on a gorgeous Southern California day, and our docent provided us with fantastic and interesting information. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, we highly recommend a trip to the Mount Wilson Observatory! If interested, please us on our day there by visiting the link below.
