Mother/Daughter weekend trip ideas

Hi. We are wanting to go somewhere-leaving from the SE. Do not want long trip. A beach would be great. 4 days or maybe 4 nights.

Relaxing. Walks. Good food. Maybe a little pampering. Low key.

Thanks.

So where do you live? Hard to say anything without knowing that, as we might recommend the city where you live now.

By budget? I mean what is your budget, in $$. Also, mid-March is spring-break time, so prices may be high, and beaches crowded!

But, for the best bet at lowest cost you'll do best to stay in the SE probably, and just try to head to areas that aren't as popular with the spring-breakers. There may also be parts of Eastern Mexico or the Caribbean that would be OK, but a lot of areas may be pricey.

Sorry, I can't help with the details, but that's where I'd start my search if I were in your shoes. I think you'll pay too much to fly out west, and it will take several hours in the air.

And one more question - how old are the mother and daughter in question. It makes a big difference if we're talking two adults, or a 30 year old and a 5 year old!
