Motel in Trinidad

What is the best place to stay in Trinidad. Near Interstate, higher end, safe.

Where's Trinidad? I assume you don't mean the island!

I am assuming you mean Trinidad, California.

If so, here you are, the best lodging there.

http://www.viewcrestlodge.com/

AAA description..."well-groomed gardens and private, individual cottages whose private decks offer vistas of the Pacific Ocean.

$95-$165 all year.

Enjoy.

We were through there in February and one of the only motels is a Best Western. It is near the interstate and is fairly new. I'd be willing to stay or put family up there . . .

There isn't much in that part of CO so BW may be your best shot.

Oh, yes, Trinidad, CO, the "sex change capital of the world".

I've been through Trinidad several times, but have never stayed - here's a site that might help:

Thanks for the responses. We're heading out in a few minutes. Best Western was full. Other places in Trinidad didn't seem quite up to our standards, so we're stopping in Raton, NM instead. Happy summer travels to all.
