What is the best place to stay in Trinidad. Near Interstate, higher end, safe.

Where's Trinidad? I assume you don't mean the island!

We were through there in February and one of the only motels is a Best Western. It is near the interstate and is fairly new. I'd be willing to stay or put family up there . . .

There isn't much in that part of CO so BW may be your best shot.

jtrandolph, we just stayed in View Crest Lodge 3 weeks ago! Great place! Won't help the op,though. :(

Thanks for the responses. We're heading out in a few minutes. Best Western was full. Other places in Trinidad didn't seem quite up to our standards, so we're stopping in Raton, NM instead. Happy summer travels to all.
