most romantic restaurant in Gatlinburg

I've not been to Gatlinburg in some time and am prepared for the shock. However, is there a romantic, lovely restaurant where one can enjoy a nice evening with the greatest woman in the world? Thank you in advance to everyone for your help and advice.

I don't think there is a romantic restaurant in Gatlinburg.

I would recommend the Greenbriar Restaurant or the Burning Bush. Enjoy!

I'm with RaleighGirl...no romantic restaurant in Gatlinburg....try one of the B&B's...I will find the name of it in a bit and post it for you...has a great dinner restaurant.

Sorry, mtngirl...the Burning Bush is no longer there..it's now the Applewood, and we had dinner at The Greenbrier last fall and it was just about terrible.

Our favorite place to eat in Gatlinburg is The Park Grill. It looks like a western lodge with huge logs. The atmosphere is great, food is delicious, and the service is wonderful. We've eaten there several times while on vacation, and we haven't been disappointed yet. It's near the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains NP. Another favorite restaurant is The Peddler. It's located on the river, and you can request a table with a view. They specialize in steaks, and they definitely know how to prepare them. The service here is also excellent.

A newer place in the area is the Lodge at Buckberry Creek. They have a fine dining room with lovely surroundings.

iceeu2: It is an inn and the dining room is open to the public (we stayed there but noticed the dining room was open to the public). You can check their website: www.lodgeatbuckberrycreek.com
