Need HELP with hotel/suite accommodations. We really need a suite. Would Seaside be close enough to the above areas? B&B are more than we want to spend since we only will be in the room at night. Any suggestions?

Seaside is close to Monterey but not to Carmel or PG. I wouldn't stay in Seaside, there isn't much to do and you'll spend too much time driving. There are plenty of places to stay in Carmel and PG that aren't too expensive. If you have AAA get a California Tour Book , you'll find plenty of places to stay.

Well, IMO, Seaside isn't too far from Carmel and PG. It's true that staying in Seaside won't enable you to walk anywhere much, and it wouldn't be my first choice because it isn't particularly charming or scenic, but if you can't find anything else, keep in mind that to drive from Seaside to PG would take you around 10 minutes, to Carmel, 20 minutes, to Monterey, 5-10 depending on which part of it you're shooting for. I wish I could help you with specific suggestions, but since we lived there, we didn't stay in the hotels! Good luck!

When are you going? The Monterey Beach Resort is offering garden rooms for $89 through the end of this month. It is located directly on the beach and there is a nice pool and jacuzzi, also an oceanview restaurant.
It is located close to Seaside, but we don't mind the short drive into Monterey, Carmel, PG. We have stayed here many times for over twenty years. ***kim***
