Coming to New Orleans next April. Whats the Monaco Hotel like. Can get a rate for $99/night.

If this is part of the Monaco chain out of San Francisco and Seattle, this CHAIN is FABULOUS!!

The one here is Seattle allows you to request a pet goldfish in your room during your stay. To keep those on business company. I think that is so clever! $99 seems like a great price for the Monaco!

I agree. You just have to love a place that offers hand buzzers and Silly Putty in the mini-bar.

I just stayed at the Hotel Monaco in New Orleans on St. Charles Ave and it was very nice. I got the $99/night rate on Expedia. You wil love it. Good locaton in the Central Business District. Street car stops out front. Can walk or take a taxi to the French Quarter, about 3 long blocks away.

Thanks for your advice. I'm now very happy with my decision to stay at the Monaco. Got a great rate and the hotel sounds excellent and easy access to the French Quater - what more could you ask for?!

Thought this was a question for the Monaco in Salt Lake City, it's the same company though. My husband went last week and is going back next week. He Loved it. He liked it more than many 4 Seasons he's stayed in, and I think it was only $129 a night. Said it had a great decor and funky atmosphere.

They had complimentary wine and massages in the Lobby in the evening, and will give you a pet goldfish to take to your room if you are lonely. Very cute.
