Mirage vs Treasure Island

I am going to LV for the first time in mid-July with 3 other friends, yes I know it is hot, but it is cheaper... Deciding between staying in Mirage or TI.

I saw that there were constructions/renovations going on in these two hotels, are they finished?

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Stay at the Venetian. One of the finest hotels in the world and the price isn't
that mush differnt. The food is served cold in the mirage Caribe coffee shop.

Venetian is probably 2-3x the price of Mirage or TI on any given night. Given the choice, I'd stay at Mirage.

The Venetian is a very good hotel as LV hotels go, but it wouldn't make it into a list of the top 100 hotels in the world. Heck there are 55 Four Seasons hotels alone which are nicer than the Venetian.

FHE,
I would choose The Mirage over TI. I have read some posts this year about pool renovations at The Mirage and you will most certainly want a nice pool setting for a July visit. You might want to check threads by going to Nevada and doing a word search of Mirage. Have a wonderful time.

Don't overlook Paris as a choice. It has been a couple of years since we have been there, but the rooms at Paris were much nicer than Treasure Island and I have heard that the Mirage rooms aren't that special unless you get a suite. Public space at TI offers low ceilings and an older feeling.
