Can not still decide between these two after reading some bad reviews on the Trip advisor.Important is overrall Las Vegas feel and the pool.Which one would you get?

Mirage is a step up from Flamingo. Mirage has a nicer pool, the hotel is in better repair, the casino has a nicer feel, and the restaurants are better. If price were not an issue, I'd choose the Mirage every time.

Having said that, the Flamingo usually is cheaper than the Mirage. I've stayed at the Flamingo three times, and thought it was OK. The rooms are comfortable, albeit worn around the edges (note: some rooms have been renovated, but they're more expensive). The pool isn't as nice as the one at the Mirage, but it's still very nice. If the price is right, the Flamingo is a good choice.

We stayed at the Mirage last June for nearly a week. We checked out the Flamingo. I was so happy with the choice I had made to stay at the Mirage. The pool is awesome. The pictures of the pool for the flamingo were taken when it first opened. My husband and I debated over the 2 and I won the round for staying at the Mirage. After we saw the Flamingo we were both happy with our choice.

Mirage is more expensive then Flamingo. Must be for a reason, I think. If money is no object, out of these 2 I'd pick Mirage.

We stayed at the Flamingo in 2005 in summer just after most rooms were renovated. We found the rooms nice and the pool was awesome. Very relaxing, especially late afternoon when the breezes came in. Location is the best and we are thinking of going back again this summer for a return visit. We would rather spend the money saved on entertainment, shows, etc. Loved the Flamingo!

I think it's a matter of what type of place (star value) you typically stay at. If your a 3 star person pick Flamingo. If you pefer a higher standad and typically choose 4 star places pick Mirage. Both are in great locations.
