Although I have not stayed there, I do not consider it one of the nicer places to stay; it looks very seedy. I've read reviews of it, and none were good. There are so many places in South Beach, so no reason to choose this property. Why are you considering this hotel? When are you going, and what rate have you been quoted?

Please change your reservations. Remember you get what you pay for. I've walked by this place a thousand times while I'm in South Beach. I wondered what it looked like inside so I went on their website and was repulsed. 1960's wood paneling. In South Beach? It looked very sparse and dirty in the pictures.

I know this will sound rude, but let's just stop and think for a minute here. You are talking about a hotel in South Beach -- one of the hottest night spots in the US over New Year's the biggest night of the year. You have found an advance price of $49 a night. How could it possibly be anything in the world except "seedy"? If it were even decent they would be charging at least twice that -- this is a business folks, not a charity. They are offering it at $ 49 because they figure that's all they're going to be able to get.

Dirty? How in God's name can you tell if it's dirty from this website? Stuck in the 70's, maybe...but dirty? Give me a break.
