Maui Westin mountain view room?

We leave for Maui this coming Friday, January 30th, and have reserved a mountain view room at the Westin. Have any of you stayed in one? If so, did you regret not having an ocean view? For part of our stay, we will be staying in an ocean front condo, therefore, thought the mountain view room would be a nice change. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I saw this post and wondered how your stay at the Westin was? How was your room? How was the beach, etc? I had posted a question regarding the Westin Maui a few days ago, but it appears you stayed there more recently than anyone who replied to my post. Thanks!

We loved our mountain view room. It was on the 11th floor - great view of the mountains and almost every afternoon we viewed beautiful rainbows over the mountains. We did not regret having an ocean view as we saw plenty of ocean each day, on the beach, driving etc. Also, this room was quiet, but make sure you get one of the upper floors, as the lower floors might have traffic noise from the parking lot. We loved the Westin and hope to return next February. Enjoy your stay!

j-

have you tried tripadvisor.com? They have subjective, but what seems to be pretty decent hotel reviews. They have been a pretty good read of the hotels I've stayed in.
