You will have a better chance at getting good info at www.theknot.com message boards under talk. If you are going for budget-friendly I seem to see a lot of people using www.whiteorchidwedding.net and Makena Beach looks like a great site (although I'm not sure of it's privacy).
I eloped on Kauai and used www.paradiseservices.com on Limahuli Estates (privately owned with beautiful mountain and beach setting near Hanalei. It was a breeze.
Congrats and good luck planning.

Ellen at A Simply Elegant Wedding is probably the best-connected wedding planner on the island and very easy to work with. I've never heard anything bad about her, something I can't say for some of the others on the island.

Limerick,
My son got married on beach in Wailea or McKenna a couple of years ago and it worked out very nice. But we did have onlookers, even a few people with their wine glass came down and watched. I know on public beaches that you can only have 10 people and can't close it to public. The way to do that is go with private property with a hotel or house. I will get the name of their coordinator and people they used. They had a neat, bare foot native minister, and a guitar player, and white doves flying out. The coordinator provided small table with tiny cake and champayne. They also had photographer and video.
