Maui Luau's
Hi,
I am just wondering if it is possible to buy tickets for just the luau and not the dinner. We are staying in Lahaina in January. Because of allergies we are not able to join in the meal. We were told that we should be able to just watch from the side lines. Is this correct? or can we just buy tickets to watch the show? thank you

There are several lu`au. I do not know about all of them, but if you are referring to the Old Lahaina Lu`au, then the answer is no, the meal is part of the deal. You can attend and not eat, but you still pay the same price. I am fairly certain it is the same with the Royal Lahaina Lu`au. You can eat at Heckock's and see show at the Feast at Lele, which takes place on the lawn below. The Hyatt, Marriott and Renaisance also have lu`au, but I have not heard of any of them offering a show only deal. You should check with them.
