MAUI HOTEL TIP
Just came back from a lovely week in Maui. For those of you thinking or booked at the Maui Eldorado I wanted to pass a tip to you. Last week their building K was completely enclosed by a tent for fumigation. Also Building G had a bug removal company come thru and spray the rooms. I know this because we were in Building G. The pools are good and the beach is too but consider it a xmas tip to the soon to be travelers.

I have been singing Mele Kelikiaka all week!
Bertaron, you know the tent thing was probably for termites and everyone has to do that periodically in Hawaii? ....if the structures are wood framed. You don't you loose your structure.
I want more info about your trip post another thread that tells us what you ate. Are the whales up yet?

Sarah,
Whales were tough to come by but there were a few of them. Not the jump out of the water kind just the ones that come up for air kind. Regarding meals I would say we had a great dinner at Roy's in Kahana and probably the best was Mama's Fish House in Kuau which is near Paia. Neither restaurant was cheap but the views of the ocean are hard to beat at Mama's. Plus the fish was excellent. Also a pleasant evening was had at Warren and Annabelle's magic show in Lahaina. It was funny and I still can't figure out how he got 2 bowling balls into one hat.
