Massanutten, Harrisonburg, VA
Hi,
We own in Massanutten, which is near Harrisonburg, VA. We will be going there the last week of July. We've been going for a few years and are looking for something different to do this year. Maybe in West Virginia? We've done the Caverns and Battlefields. Anyone have any ideas? We plan on white water rafting, Skyline Drive, and the vineyards, but are looking or something that would help make this trip memorable. We have a daughter 13, and a son 11 and they are looking forward to Massanutten's new water park. Has anyone been there?. Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Have you done the American Heritage Museum? It's a group of original old houses brought over from various countries to show how our forefathers lived. Germany, England are a couple of them. People are there, dressed in period clothes and cooking like they used to. Not too far from Massunutten.

Hi, thanks for the responses. We have done the American Heritage Museum, and The Frontier Culture Museum. We haven't done Monticello in the past, but are planning on it this year. The Woodsock Tower sounds great. Will definitely have to look into that one! Thanks again, anyone have anything different?
