I go in and out of Pittsburgh often. It's one of the nicest and user friendly airports I've even been in. Even has some high class shopping. Particularly easy to rent a car there. Good place to eat is a little Irish pub up on the shopping level before you clear security. I often arrive quite early so I can have a decent breakfast and not have to eat on the planes.

I'd wait until I got to the Airport. Pittsburgh International has a Information desk right before you go into the concourses with a lot of info.
