Enjoy the airport. It's a big, modern airport with lots of shopping and restaurants. It's a long way from the city, so you won't be able to go into KL.

BTW, if you are flying Business Class on Malaysian Air, they have a spa in their lounge.

Unfortunately, it would take about an hour each way to get out and back to downtown Kuala Lumpur by train, so I would not suggest you try that. The airport is basically in the middle of palm oil plantations and there is really not much around it other than the new federal government centre at Putra Jaya (you can also take a train here). Again, however, with immigration and travel time, and the fact that there is not much to do there beyond looking at government buildings in a pleasant setting, I am not sure that try to get to either of those are worth it.

The airport has lots of food outlets, a good bookshop and I so am sure you can keep yourself amused. If you have a computer with you, I believe that the entire place is wired for Wifi, or you may be able to find PC stations. The Starbucks on the first floor has free internet as well. Website for the airport is http://www.klia.com.my/
