Sign up for their frequent stay program and get on their email list and you might find something.

However, with NYC hotel occupancy at an all time high, doubtful.

Gorgeous hotel though! I'm jealous!

That price does sound very high (but you don't say when this is for). I would phone the hotel and find out what the best price is they can offer. I'd also do what GoT said. I'd also try to check on one of the websites the scours lots of websites (like kayak, sidestep etc.) but don't know if those have the MO in their data base.

You don;t say when you will be in NYC. That rate sounds high unless you are coming in November/December - or are going for an upgraded room.

Agree with the idea of contacting the hotel directly to see if they have better rates- or if you can get some sort of honeymoon package (usually not less money but they give you extras - possible uprades, free schampagne, fruit baskets etc.)

(I have done several meetings there and the hotel is worth every penny - including concierge services, bar, restaurant etc. If you plan on using any of the latter, get reservations as soon as you can - since they both often fill up.)

The Peninsula is a lovely hotel. They have a rooftop bar called the Pen Top with lovely views. I don't think hubby will mind it. Good luck!
