LV Restaurants

I am headed to LV many times this coming fall, and am looking for some fun restaurants. I would like to know what everyone would rec. for casual, mid-range and for upscale!

And, although I'm staying at Bellagio, I'd also like to know if anyone has been to the Green Valley Ranch and/or Red Rock, and what you thought of it!

Thanks,

Cindy

Although we have not stayed at eithe place you mention, we did stay at Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas and it was wonderful. Although it's 17 miles from the Strip, a world away. As far as upscale restaurants go, I would HIGHLY recommend Alex in the Wynn hotel. Gorgeous dining room with superb service and food.

not exactly sure what you are looking for, but I suggest Hugos cellar in the 4 queens on Fremont Street. It is 5 star and totally elegant.

Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris--sit outside where you can watch Bellagio's fountains while you eat. Cafe Baba Riba (a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant) for tapas at Fashion Show Mall. Both with a high "fun" quotient.

Have been to Red Rock and have seen the rooms--simply gorgeous and upscale--and have eaten at the Mexican restaurant there and at the Salt Lick BBQ restaurant; both have excellent food.
GVR also has sumptuous rooms, don't know about the restaurants.

Pumpy - I ate at Mesa grill in Bahamas and it was wonderful.

We like BOA in Vegas (as well Santa Monica)

For pure Vegas retro fun + great food with huge portions, you can't beat the Peppermill, on the north end of the strip next to the Riviera. It's renown for its breakfast fare; huge platters of pancakes, omelets, the works, in a funky neon decor. They also have the Fireside Lounge, which has to be seen to be believed. Only in Vegas, baby!

The Country Club at Wynn is a favorite of ours along with Bouchon's at the Venetian.

I love the Wynn restaurants and I have dined at the Country Club and it was really good and enjoyed Daniel Boulud's too.
I enjoyed Delmonico's at the V and did like Bouchon but we only had champagne and mussels at the bar..I hear its really good for breakfast.
I love going downtown LV for breakfast and my fav is Binion's for the $4.99 ham steak and eggs (ham takes up the whole plate) with hash browns, toast.
