Delmonico's restaurant in the Venetian

Any thoughts on dining at Delmonico's in the Venetian? We will be celbrating my sister's 50th B-day and want a special (and good) dinner. Heard Del's is popular, but could be hype because of Emeril. Any other favorites would be welcomed. Thank you.

food was o.k., service excellent, decor was very dark, highly overpriced. not worth it in my opinion and I don't mind paying for a good meal, this was not worth the "emeril" hype.

Been several times to Delmonico's and being a foodie, I feel it was above average but not excellent..if your sister is a Emeril fan than I feel she would enjoy it but there are so many restaurants in LV that are alot better..IMO..
I like Boulud's at the Wynn but I hear Alex is outstanding..we enjoy Bouchon at the Venetian alot..

We loved Delmonico's. I was apprehensive for the same reasons as you, but we were really pleasantly surprised. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Vegas, it just depends what you are looking for in terms of atmosphere, type of food and ambiance, price, etc. But I wouldn't hesistate to go with Delmonico's, I thought it was very good.
