Luxury Car Rental/ Best Restaurants in SE Mich.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone happened to know of any luxury car rental companies in Southeast Michigan (Detroit up to the Flint area). We are looking to rent a Mercedes, BMW, or luxury car/SUV (of that sort) for an evening this spring and have yet to find anything.

Also looking for elegant, upscale restaurants in the locations Ann Arbor, the suburbs of Detroit or Flint.. nothing extremely close to Detroit though. Not any specific type of food- just somthing new, elegant environment, but not too stuffy.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure about luxury rentals, but try Metro Car and Checker, it's possible they will have them.

As for upscale restaurants, there are so many wonderful ones. When you say "new", though...you want restaurants recently opened?

Not necessarily just recently opened, but modern and attractive to the eye. I'm sorry I didn't specify. :/

Thanks for your response, I was hoping someone would be able to help me.

For Ann Arbor restaurants, you might like to try one of these:

Pacific Rim by Kana - http://www.pacificrimbykana.com/
Logan - http://www.logan-restaurant.com/
Rush Street - http://www.rushstreetrestaurant.com/

I know that the Hertz rental car airport location has Jaguar, Mercedez, Land/Range Rover and Volvo. You might want to call that location direct rather than the 800#.

The Lark has been voted one of Michigan's best for many years; you can find reviews for it on the internet with a little "Googling"

6430 Farmington Rd
West Bloomfield, MI 48322-2209
(248) 661-4466

Our favorites are Tribute in Farmington, Capitol Grille in Troy and have heard fantastic reviews of Five Lakes Grill in Milford:

Can't help you with the luxury car rental, sorry!

~Lark and Rugby Grille are lovely, but not really modern and might be too stuffy for you

All of these have been mentioned, so I'll just second them!

For upscale, you can't beat Tribute. It has won more awards than any other restaurant in the state and is called the best restaurant between Chicago and New York.

Emily's is another outstanding one, www.emilysrestaurant.com. It's in an old Victorian home, so all of the dining rooms are intimate, but the decor is pleasantly colorful and modern.

Five Lakes Grill is up and coming and supposed to be really fantastic. Haven't been there, yet. Heard they have outdoor seating on a lake with lovely views.
