Anyone familiar with a fun place for lunch between Springdale / Zion Nat'l Park and Vegas, around St. George, Hurricane or Mesquite?
Always looking for the experience more than the food, as in something fun or unique to that town or area. Also love dining outdoors (even in the heat!)

We have some pretty good restaraunts here in Mesquite but none that I would consider a "dining experience". Likewise, I cannot think of anything in either St. George or Hurricane along those lines but I am not as familair with the dining options in those areas.
If you like good Mexican food, Mia's on Mesquite Blvd (the main drag) about half way between exit 120 and 122 is good. Exit at 120 and continue east along the Blvd. It is on the left side, just past El Rancho Market about a mile from the 120 exit.
There are several other Mexican places in town as well as Chinese and an almost full range of fast food joints (no Taco Bell yet). We have the standard buffets and coffe shops in the four main casinos. There are also a couple of 19th hole type cafes open to the public at a couple of our golf courses.
Let me know if I can provide more specific info re Mesquite.

Ellen - my computer died yesterday and I've had to replace it. Unfortunately, my address book backup didn't work so I've lost your e-mail address. Please e-mail me again.
Looking forward to meeting you all later this month.
