Los Angeles driving advise...
Hi all
I leave for LA Friday and have booked reservations at some great restaurants!
Each of these reservations comes on the heels of a busy event, so I want to leave at the last possible minute and still be safe.
Here's the details:
Saturday - Reservation at 630pm at One Sunset which is on Sunset in West Hollywood.
We will be leaving from downtown LA.
Sunday - Reservations at 8pm at the Dakota, at the Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Hollywood Blvd.
Monday - Reservations at 745pm at STK on La Cienega in West Hollywood.
Given the days and times, what is the latest *safe* departure time.
We do plan to valet at each location.
Thanks so much!!!

Are you familiar with L.A.? Have you Mapquested the routes?
Mapquest recommends surface streets for all three destinations. I guess I agree. Mapquest says 15-20 minutes for each. I think I'd say 30 minutes to be safe, and you'll probably arrive early. Weekend traffic in/through Hollywood can be pretty heavy.

I am familiar but unfortunately I will not be the one driving.
To make matters worse, I have no idea how the drivers, drive.
I have no trust in Mapquest. I googled directions but I still want a local persons thoughts.
I will assume the drivers are slow and confused, even with a map/directions, which I will make sure to print out.
