Looking for secluded cabin in Northeast

My husband and I are looking to spend some quality time together away from civilization. Anybody know of a cabin, or some type of accomodations (jacuzzi and fireplace would be a bonus) where we can just relax and do nothing for a few days that's within a few hours drive of Long Island?

Thanks!

Check out www.adirondackvacations.com
and a place called Harbor Hill Cottages. They look pretty nice and they're a few hours north of L.I.

Jane, check out the website for a resort named Gold Mountain Chalet. It's located about 80 miles north of the city. They probably still offer the private chalet with fireplace and jacuzzi. I'm assuming it's still a very nice place for couples.

There are some places in the Pocono's that people seem to like. It can't be to far from New york. Many activities. Folks from Pa. frequent these chalets/resorts.

Check out the French Manor www.thefrenchmanor.com in the Poconos. The accommodations are excellent and some of the rooms have a jacuzzi and fireplace. Or maybe try Newport, RI. There are excellent B&B's there.
