My cousin recommended Carmine's and we went there twice on our last visit to NYC. We loved it. Friendly, busy, lively, great people watching, wonderful wine by the glass. Loved their garlic bread. It isn't fancy, it is family style, big portions to share. Thier veal marsala was very good. We just ordered on salad, one pasta, one main dish for all of us. Lots of wine and bread. All, including young kids, were happy. Do be prepared to wait. No reservations. Could be up to an hour. But a little wine, no problems.

jor, I understand the confusion. It is hard to keep the New York theatre district separated in my mind from the Fargo theatre district. They are so similar. LOL.
