I was truly amazed at how progressive and tolerant Missoula Montana was while on vacation there. It is described as the Boulder CO before Boulder went Hollywood. Hippies and rainbow people everywhere. Also, Missoula is not expensive.

Another city which comes to mind is Minneapolis. I have inter-racial friends who live there and love it.

wow, this really got deep...well, as the 3th poster before they even specified, I mentioned the interracial couple below me (in Atlanta) was Asian & Caucasian, I wasn't even thinking of it as a black and white issue. Most couples I know are Puerto Rican & Caucasian, or Polish & Mexican for example...and if "Asian" is not a race, why is that word used on forms when asked to describe your race ? And if you do not know their specific country of origin, what is the correct term ? Is "hispanic" a race ? I also agree about the food there also on Buford Highway...can't beat a fresh made sushi buffet for $9.99 for lunch...
