Looking for a restaurant in Charleston

We visited Charleston several years ago and ate at a great place in the historic district. It was a tiny place, with cafeteria style service, and everyone sat together at long, cramped tables. The large African American woman running the place told people when to get up and go get their food, southern fried chicken, greens corn bread, etc. Can anyone help me with the name to tell my friends?

Thanks.

Kim - it is probably either Jestine's Kitchen on Meeting Street or Alice's Fine Foods on King Street.
