I am trying to find a kauai bungalow for a honeymoon. I do not have to be by the ocean i want seclusion for a good price. Preferably an out door shower or bath on the north side. Please Help

There are lots of places for rent on vacation rental sites like vrbo.com, vacationrentals.com, and so forth.
Rather than staying at Waimea Plantation Cottages which can get very expensive and are not in a great location, think about staying on a prettier part of the island. Yeah it's an "old Hawaii" feel there, but it's also bone dry, the beach is nasty and there is nothing much to do out that way.
You said in your post the north side. Check out Princeville, Haena, Hanalei and other areas around there for something.

Do like I do......hunker down and google....take time to explore every piece of property you can, then come back with your favorite picks! Of course, many will and should offer recomendations here,,,,I'm excited to be staying next august at a beach house in Hanalei......that is a magical area to consider.....since you get a sense of hawaii and community, and walk to dinner and shops.......although there are some hidden gems, others will tell you about.....secret beach...or further north....were driving to anything is necessary......I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Hi,We just stayed in a wonderful studio in the Haena area of the North shore. It is about one and one half miles from the end of the road.400 steps fron Tunnels Beach. We have been to Kauai 5 times in the last six years. This place was the best.A wonderful lady by the name of Acacia is in charge of renting it for the owners.Call this number and ask for the "Waiele Studio".Her # is 808-826-7717 in Hanalei.PS: Say Aloha from Pete & Kathy in cold Mn. I hope this helps. Aloha

Let me please recommend The Jungle Bungalow. IT WAS HEAVEN. Located in Hanalei - wonderful experience. Has the tub and shower outside - beautiful gardens. An avacado tree that have avacados falling down every day, lemon tree we made fresh lemonade with, etc. It was AWESOME!!!

KAUAI - 5 nights at Secret Beach Hideaway
Secret Beach Hideaway - This gets a 10 and not just because we were married on the bluff right on the property. I cannot say enough about how beautiful this location is and how wonderful this little Hale Lani cottage was. We could not have chosen a better place for our private little wedding and honeymoon night place. You could actually have a pretty large wedding here if they?d allow it. You can see some of the grounds from our pictures. Here you really felt all by yourself. It was a 15 minute drive to Princeville so it wasn?t right in the center of the action, but it was just what we wanted and the place was upscale and spotless.
