Lodge At Koele, Lanai - Dress Code?
I'm going to the Lodge at Koele next month and their website has "Attire" listed. for those of you who have stayed there before, do you know if they are strict about it, or are they just suggesting it? I can leave my slippahs at home, but I think I'd like to bring my jeans......

Hi Melissa- I think I wore jeans all the time I was there, except for dinner in the lodge, high tea, and dinner at Manele Bay in the nice dining room. Of course, I spent my time horseback riding, playing mini golf, and reading on the lanai. We split our time between manele and the Lodge...I much preferred the lodge! We also packed a picnic lunch and drove out to shipwreck beach. that was a lot of fun.
Lucky you!

How lucky Melissa! We too love the Lodge. We took cycling clothes (you can borrow bikes), bathing suit and cover-ups, work-out clothes, shorts and jeans. A little black dress for dinner was perfect. I forget what I wore for high tea, but the scones were delicious!

hi Melissa! B called the other day and mentioned I was invited --- nice of him. it should be a fun evening!
T & I just celebrated our cenennial. My hope was to go back to the Lodge, but we were frugal and just went out to dinner in town. Lcuy, I still rhapsodize about our dinner at the Ihilani Room (was that the name of the formal dining room at the Manele?) and at the formal dining room at the Lodge.
