Thank you Gloria for that information! I guess we will be heading to the lava flow area a lot earlier than I thought!

Make sure you take the helicopter flight over Kauai. This is the best island for it, and it will be one of the coolest things you ever do. I almost cried at the sheer breathtaking beauty of it. Also check out Waimea Canyon.

On Maui, a snorkel trip to Molokini is a must-do. The Road To Hana is fun also. We got out a lot and hiked to falls and pools so much we never made it to Hana. It's the journey, not the destination, in my opinion. If you do drive it, make sure you stop at the little "Halfway To Hana" food stand and buy some banana bread...it is delicious!!

Also make sure you have some unstructured time to just relax. Vacations are no fun if you are stressed about missing something!

which helicopter company did you use? Do you think I should get out and see the falls?

What is the halfway point on the road to Hana? Does anyone know where I could get the cd?

What are some of your FAVORITE restaurants that you would have to go back to on each island????
Leaving in 2 days.... you guys have been GREAT!!!!!!!

you wont miss the halfway to hana food stand, it's right on your right side when u're driving there. From what I recall, their ice cream was pretty good too.
David Paul's Lahaina Grill in Lahaina was pretty good, I'd do it again in a heart beat.
Have fun and take lots of pictures!
