Leaving for South Beach tomorrow, weather question?
Yes, I've checked weather.com, but they never seem to be all that accurate. Seems like it will be cold, especially at night. Can any of you south Fla residents help me out, should I bring a jacket for night time? Will it be too cold for sandals at night? Thanks, I know it's late notice, but I finally had to break down and break my New Year's resolution and post here!
Thanks in advance.

I don't know where you are coming from but, yes, it is cold here at night (lows in the 60's, maybe even colder Saturday night). I would absolutely bring a jacket for night and real shoes. Also a sweatshirt for the day. The good news - no rain anywhere in sight! Have a great trip!

Nina,we were there New Years week & one night it was freezing....only about 40! I wore my "pant boots" out to dinner that night, black turtle neck, blazer & black pants! (not capri but 'winter' length!) You will definitely need a jacket (blazer.) Every day even when the temps rose to around low to mid 70's it really cooled down around 4:00 poolside. I wld. slip my black capris & hooded fleece jacket over my swimsuit. Hope this helps w/ your last minute packing! Just remember: Whatever the weather it will be warmer than home! Go & have fun!

My fiance does photo shoots on the beach there about every other week. We have always lived in the upper midwest so we're used to the cold too but he said last week was cold by FL standards (50's & 60's) and he didn't pack for that. Also it was windy so that feels even cooler. He had to buy a sweatshirt.
