Enchantment is set back in a large red rock canyon. Very spectacular. Great restaurant. Top notch spa. Very secluded and inspiring. Standard rooms are a bit dated but in nice condition. Suites are new and beautiful. Best rooms in Sedona.
L'Auberge has cabins along the creek, amid the trees, very romantic and quiet. But the views aren't much unless you walk toward the main hotel. Cabins have fireplaces, etc and are a bit rustic, but nice. The main hotel is decent, but lacks anything unique except a great view IMO. The restaurant is outstanding, but not cheap.
Also, L'Auberge is set right in town, so easy to get to shops, etc.
