Last Minute Airline Tickets
Any advice on finding a good price on last minute tickets from Nashville to San Diego? Would like to travel this Friday or Saturday and return either Monday or Tuesday. I've checked Travelocity, Yahoo Travel, Orbitz, and Expedia. Am afraid to bid on tickets without having some control over the departure times since the trip is so short. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked out the website and you're right, there has to be a hotel and/or car. Unfortunately, my husband is already there in a hotel, but I plan to keep this address for later because it looks like you can get some good deals. Thanks.

Sometimes you can get a better price on site59 for flight + car or hotel than you can get on just flight elsewhere. It's worth a look - no one says you have to actually pick up the car or stay in the hotel room.
Also check hotwire. I think they give you some more control over flight times than priceline does, but I don't remember exactly what they tell you.

All above the great suggestions. Throw away the hotel or car if you find a good deal on site59.com. Hotwire is good source, and you can even try bidding on Priceline with a fare slightly lower than Hotwire. Chances are you can get it. As long as you're not picky about flight times and connections.
Also, all airlines have special last minute webfares for Sat departure and Monday return. You need to go to all major airlines' own websites to look for them. They may not have BNA-SAN, but worth looking.
