Las Vegas Shows
I'm going to Vegas for the 1st time ever for my 40th bday, and I live in Atlanta, obviously a city that already gets all the big concert performers, selection of Cirque du Soleil performances and comedians. So, I'm looking for a suggestion to see a show that is indicative of Las Vegas and all its glamour and outrageousness to finish off a memorable weekend. What one show will give me the most bang for the buck?

I am going to LV for the first time in May. In looking at tickets for Mamma Mia, there are seats available in the front center row of the mezzanine. There are also seats in Row AA, which is the first row in the center floor section. My husband thinks the first row up front would be best. Is this too close to sit?? It's been ages since I have been to a show so I can only guess. Any help would be great! Thanks

I'm curious if anyone else actually read the original poster's post? I think he's looking for the big, old fashioned Las Vegas show -- showgirls in tall headresses parading down staircases, acts, kick lines, huge staging. I mentioned Jubilee, but not sure if it's still playing. What about the Lido or other such shows? I realize people are trying to be helpful, but unless I'm mistaken most of these suggestions are exactly what the poster ISN'T looking for. No?

Jubilee is still playing at Bally's. Check the Harrah's/Bally's website. There is also a behind the scenes tour of the workings of the Jubilee show.

Folies Bergere is also still playing at the Tropicana. La Cage at the Riviera.
