Las Vegas Romantic Spots & Spas

Still doing research for our anniversary trip next month! I am looking for two things still:
Best romantic spots (restaurants, night club, outdoor...)
and the best bang for my buck spa where hubby can spend his winnings on me ;-)

Thanks

Las Vegas doesn't strike me as a romantic type place but the nearest I can get is the Voodoo Lounge, on the 51st floor of the Rio - just off the strip. There is a free shuttle from Harrahs on the strip to the Rio and back. The view from the top of the Rio is brilliant. We got there in daylight, had a cocktail and watched as it got dark and all of the strip was lit up. It's lovely at night with all the lights. There is a restaurant on the floor below, reasonably pricey. If you get there late once the band starts, there is an entry fee.

There is a nice little outdoor patio right between Prime and Picasso at the Bellagio. It's a nice place for a cocktail and to watch the fountain shows.

In terms of the spa, my wife really likes the Canyon Ranch at the Venetian.

I have responded on your other thread I think, but I found a table for two in Circo on my birthday pretty romantic. The music is nice the fountains are popping off outside. The service is excellent and they dote on you
My husband sent me to the Bellagio spa last trip, it was heavenly but for guests only.
He also takes me shopping at the Ceasars Forums and Venetian, you might pick up a little something in one of their jewelry shops. I did get a red Donna Karan bag that is not sold in NYC..also got a string of black pearls so if he wins, take him shopping right away ~LOL

there is a very romantic but not expensive chinese resto in mandalay bay called shanghi lilly -- menu available on their website. also, the mandalay bay spa is absolutely teh best (check the spa menu on website) and you can go to dinner at shanghi when he picks you up from the spa.

Remember that romantic is in the eye of the beholder, but here were my favorite spots:
1. At the Top of the World restaurant in Stratosphere. It's pricy, but we ate dinner during a beautiful sunset, and it was very romantic.

2. In front of the Bellagio fountains at night. There are many people around, but I always got lost in the music and the dancing water, and everything else faded away.

Remember than anyplace can be romantic if you bring the romance.

I have had many a massage in Las Vegas and here are my favorites: Bally's (there is a new area, ask for it, the rooms were brand new and had tabletop waterfalls and scents floating in the air with the lights dimmed (never had these options and they do make a difference). Also, the Mirage was nice as far as amenities but the new spa rooms at Bally's were awesome! You even have a really nice room to sleep in and relax after the massage is over.......i've been to more expensive hotels and they weren't worth it.....
