Thanks for all the good info!
I just thought of something else...how dressy are the shows and restaurants? The burger and diner places are casual, I'm sure, but the nicer ones at the hotels? And how about the shows? Most of my travel is very casual, so I want to make sure I am prepared to dress appropriately. Thank you.

The shows do not have a dress code -- you will see everything from shorts and flip flops to cocktail dresses.
Most restaurants are also anything goes. Only the high-end places will have a dress code. Most of the better places at the Wynn say "business casual" or "smart resort" or something like that. They don't want jeans or shorts. But if you look reasonably put together you can probably get away with it.
